Two Years.

Tomorrow, the 18th will be our 2nd anniversary. I thought I would post some of our wedding pictures.

All of our bridesmaids, groomsmen, and ushers were siblings and so we had a little fun. :)

I have been so blessed with Silas as my husband. The Lord's way is perfect. He knew exactly what I needed when he gave me Silas. He is so caring and patient with me. I am so thankful to his parent as well. For raising their son to be a man of God, and for teaching him to work hard.
These past two years have flown by. We have seen the Lord's blessing on our marriage. We are excited to see how the Lord will guide in the coming year.

IT'S A....

BABY!!!!

Today we got to see baby #2! Yes, we found out what it is going to be, but for now we are keeping that to ourselves. :) I am interested to see what all your guesses are. Comment below. Will Samuel have a brother or a sister in February?

Vacation Part 2!

Here are a few more pictures of the Dixie Stampede.

Yesterday evening we went to Sight and Sound Theatre to see Moses!
Silas and I saw Jonah here while we were on our honeymoon.

Before the show started we took a behind the scenes tour. They took us on stage and showed us
some of the sets and how they move those huge things around.

Looking out from the stage.

They also showed us the dressing rooms and all of their costumes.

Most of the actors have more then one role.

Samuel was great. He slept through the first half and he seemed to enjoy what he saw.

We took a quick detour and drove by the cottages that Silas and I stayed at on our Honeymoon.

This was our cottage.
Then it was back to the park for a full day of rides!

The teacups..

The last ride of the day. Ethan, Caleb Jessica, Micah and Robbie (who seem to be hiding. :) and Dad.

One more day tomorrow!

Vacation Part One!

Last Friday we left our northern home and traveled 18 hours south.
Silas and I came to Branson on our honeymoon almost 2 years ago and this is the
first time we have been back. My family went last year so this time
we all went together.

Samuel did really well in the car. We did the whole trip in one stretch. It was a
long day, but it was good to just get it over with.

Saturday we spent a couple of hours at Silver Dollar City.
We didn't hit all the rides, but we still have tomorrow and Thursday
to get them all in.
The kids have really enjoyed riding on all the rides. They even go on
a couple of roller coasters. Though no one is quite brave enough to go on the
Barn Swing with my dad. :)
Sunday we went to a small church in the area. Their pianist was away so
they asked me to fill in for them. It was a neat experience. Our group about doubled
their attendance for the day. :)
That afternoon Silas, Samuel and I went to the Butterfly Palace.
This was a Banyan Tree Adventure. They had a whole bunch of bungee cords
strung up you had to make your way through. It was supposed to be how it is to
get through the jungle.

They have the room with all kinds of butterflies flying around. They gave you a tube
with some kind of nectar and if you held it still butterflies would come and land on it.

They also had a room full of reptiles.

One of Silas' favorite things here was the mirror maze. It sure plays
ticks on your mind. Silas got ahead of me and I could see 5 of him but I had
no idea which one was the real Silas.
Last night we went to the Dixie Stampede with my family. I don't have
many pictures from that.

That's all for now. Stay tuned for more pictures coming soon. :)

Samuel Turns One!!

This last Sunday Samuel turned one! He has been such a happy little guy.
He is always ready with a smile. He is trying to walk, but right now he won't do it unless he
has something to hold on to.

Cherish the Moment - Ron Hamilton

Read my book, Rub my back
Mommy listen to my Prayer.
Let me sit in your lap, Daddy fly me through the air.
Throw a ball, Make a snack
Can we go to the park?
Tuck me in, hold me close.
I'm afraid of the dark.

Cherish the moment soon you'll be apart.
Cling to the memory clasp it to your heart.
Soon comes the day when you'll have no child to hold
so cherish, cherish the moment.

Think ahead to a time when your little ones are grown.
Hold them tight don't lose sight of the blessings you have known.
Think ahead to a time when your little boys a man.
And you'd give anything just to hold them again.

Cherish the moment soon you'll be apart.
Cling to the memory clasp it to your heart.
Soon comes the day when you have no child to hold.
So cherish, cherish the moment.

Mother's Day

For mother's day Samuel got to wear this sailor outfit. Which was my dads when he was little.
All of my brothers have worn it and now it is getting passed on to the grandkids.

We were at my families for the afternoon. They played some ultimate Frisbee.

Here is Samuel with dad.

And mom and dad with their grandkids. It was kind of bright out. :)
