July In Review

Here's a quick overview for the last month.

We started it out with the 4th of July. We had a picnic with Silas's family, but I didn't get any pictures while we were there. Then we went to the parade.  Samuel is getting old enough to really enjoy the tractors and trucks that go by.

 Christy's first 4th of July!

Samuel hanging out with Uncle Jon.

Samuel got all excited with fire trucks and hearing the sirens.

After the parade we headed to my families for supper and some fire crackers.

Wow!!
After each one he would clap.

July is also Silas's birthday month. He turned 23 a couple days ago.
I am so thankful for him and all he does for our family. Happy Birthday!
Silas is allowed to take a day off of work for his birthday. So he chose to take a day off and we went to the county fair.
We are waiting for the Corn Maze float to come by.

Here they come!

Samuel was shocked speechless by everything at the fair. He just sat and stared at everything.
He loved looking at the animals. I think it is so fun watching his little face light up with excitement.

This was the only ride we did. Samuel got to ride his own horse!

Something else happened this month, I don't have any pictures but it makes a good story.
A little while ago we were going shopping and we realized a 100 dollar bill was missing from my wallet. We had no idea where it went. When we got home we searched the house trying to find it but couldn't. A few days go by and I see Samuel is playing with Silas's wallet. He pulls out a $1 bill and runs over to the trash can and throws it away. It made me wonder that maybe he has done that before. So Silas decides to go through the trash, after three bags sure enough he finds our missing $100 bill! We have been told kids are expensive.. But that's not quite the way we thought our kids would use our money. :)
